  3. Behind The Design: A Closer Look At Some Of Our Favourite Kitchen Projects

Kitchens are much more than simply a space to cook and prepare food, and at Classic Interiors, our award-winning team know that the look and feel of your wonderful new kitchen can be just as important as how great it is to use. That’s why our expert designers take as much time as needed to understand your lifestyle and tastes, as this allows them to help you create a beautiful interior that complements your home perfectly. To give you an insight into the thinking behind some of our fantastic kitchen designs and reveal the attention to detail at the heart of our work, we’re going to explore four of our favourite recent projects.

Radiant & Timeless Kitchen Design In Worcester

With a spacious and airy setting providing the backdrop to their new kitchen, our Worcester clients were keen to enhance their space with a modern yet homely design. Creating a clean and fresh interior to complement the expansive countryside views was a must. However, establishing an inviting and laidback atmosphere was equally important to our clients.

Upon visiting our Worcester showroom, Mr and Mrs Copeman fell in love with this radiant sage green hue. The warm undertone of this elegant colour strikes just the right balance between the modern and traditional. Beautiful wood accents add to the cosy classic feel.

We achieved a similar balance with our choice of cabinetry, opting for a sleek door front with subtle framed detailing. Designing a seamless built-in bank of tall units and doing away with any overhead cabinets also contributes to the airy, contemporary ambience. Bespoke alcoves at the end of the island and simple oak shelves bring a wonderful touch of character to the space. This timeless Worcester kitchen design cleverly brings modern style and classic charm into perfect harmony.

On-Trend Contemporary Kitchen Design In Solihull

A modern kitchen style was an obvious choice for this more compact Solihull interior. The clean, uninterrupted lines and clever space-saving features offered by a contemporary handleless design are ideal for decluttering the room and establishing a spacious and practical kitchen.

The sleek cabinet style allowed us to maximise space by building two large pantry units into an alcove opposite the hob. An ingenious pocket door system allows our clients to neatly tuck the doors away when the cabinets are in use, ensuring plenty of room to walk around the island. One unit serves as a wonderful larder for storing ingredients, while the other makes a fabulous drinks bar.

Another feature that transforms this design is the fantastic kitchen island complete with an induction hob. The island provides the additional worktop space needed for food prep, allowing us to optimise storage by introducing plenty of tall units to the room. Opting for a clever built-in downdraft extractor rather than a traditional cooker hood furthers the spacious and open aesthetic.

A dark grey matt finish makes a distinctly stylish, on-trend choice, while rich wood accents soften the cool modern look. This sophisticated contemporary Solihull kitchen design makes a fantastic use of space.

Stunning Accessible Kitchen Design In Bromsgrove

Combining practicality and style was essential to the success of this incredible bespoke Bromsgrove kitchen. Unfortunately, aesthetics can get overlooked when designing to accommodate mobility issues. However, the fantastic team at Classic Interiors were determined to prove this doesn’t have to be the case.

A graceful and chic nude colour palette meets gorgeous walnut wood and brushed gold accents to create a sumptuous and subtly feminine interior. The amber tones of the gold and wood detailing beautifully complement the orange and beige scheme featured in the sophisticated modern dining area. Art deco-inspired pendant lights complete this gorgeous interior.

The reduced height cabinetry incorporates recesses beneath the sink and hob to ensure ease of use. Positioning the ovens lower down and introducing pull-down racks to the overhead cupboards also enhances functionality. We communicated closely with our wonderful Bromsgrove client to ensure every beautiful and practical feature worked for her.

Modern Kitchen Design For A Border Oak Home Near Redditch

While it could be tempting to play it safe with a traditional design in keeping with this rustic country house setting, pushing the boundaries with a stunning modern interior undeniably gets so much more from this extraordinary Border Oak home near Redditch.

The minimal handleless design and clean white palette emphasise the exquisite character and warmth of the charming oak beams. Though this interior could run the risk of appearing a little dingy, a pristine gloss finish reflects light around the space, instead, giving the room a fresh and airy atmosphere.

Pure and sleek styling allowed us to introduce a generous island and a full row of units, making full use of the space without overwhelming the room. Simple yet effective LED plinth lights add a brilliant touch of luxury, elevating this stunning Redditch kitchen design alongside a host of state-of-the-art appliances and practical features.
